Painting together is bringing art classes into care homes in the Greater Manchester and Cheshire areas.
Our sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone including those with dementia, promoting conversation and reminiscence. We will guide and encourage everyone whatever their ability, to paint a piece of art accompanied by some classic tunes.
Painting together provides all materials and equipment whilst taking away all waste.
We use:
Water based acrylic paints, high grade cartridge paper. thicker lined images for painting, easy grip brushes and no spill water pots are available, easy wipe tablecloths, clipboards and easels,
Weekday and Weekend slots now available.

As we provide activities in care home settings, we are mindful that we need to take every precaution to minimise the spread of COVID -19 between residents and their homes. To this end, we are testing weekly and will cancel any session in the case of a positive result or if we have symptoms. Additionally we ask you to let us know if COVID-19 is present in your residence and cancel our visit (without incurring any financial penalty) as we would not want to contribute to the spread of the virus between care homes. If you would rather we wear face masks during the art class we are happy to do so, but this may make engaging your residents in conversations more difficult. All our staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Additional Infection Control Measures:
We will bring paint, brushes, easels, water pots, palettes, drawing boards, table cloths, blue roll and water. All waste including water will be taken away without the need to use any of your facilities and equipment is cleaned prior to any session.
Musical equipment brought in with us will be cleaned, however we will need to plug in the player.
